Dr. Alexander Vasudevan is Associate Professor of Human Geography at the University of Oxford, UK. He is the author of the recently published Metropolitan Preoccupations: The Spatial Politics of Squatting in Berlin (Oxford: Wiley-Blackwell, 2015). Alexander has published extensively on performance cultures, experimental geographies and the urban politics of interwar Germany. He has written on contemporary landscape photography, as well as the wider geographies of neo-liberal globalisation. His current research focuses on radical politics, urban squatting and the wider geographies of contemporary precarity.
