Josip Kotlar, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Innovation of the Lancaster University Management School, UK, and Co-Director of the Lancaster University Management School Centre for Family Business, UK. His research is at the intersection of strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation, and his work focuses primarily on family businesses. On these topics, he has published articles in leading journals including Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Academy of Management Perspectives, Small Business Economics, Journal of Small Business Management, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Family Business Review and the Journal of Family Business Strategy. He is a member of the Editorial Review Boards of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and Family Business Review. He has been guest-editor of special issues in Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and the International Journal of Management Reviews. He is a Board Member of the International Family Enterprise Research Academy.
