Lisa Morriss Lancaster University, UK

Dr Lisa Morriss is a Lecturer in the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham. She teaches qualitative research methods with a particular focus on visual, mobile, and creative art-based methodologies. Lisa’s background is in sociology and social work; her interests include mental health, social futures, motherhood, stigma, and ethnomethodology. Lisa is co-founder of an on-going arts-based project called 'Experiencing the Social Work World' with Jadwiga Leigh and Matt Morriss. She is a member of the management committee for the ESRC funded project ‘Life, Death, Disability and the Human: Living Life to the Fullest’, exploring the lives of children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
