Dr. Marilyn Y. Byrd is Associate Professor of Human Relations, The University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma. Dr. Byrd is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors and as co-chairperson of the Workforce Diversity & Inclusion Special Interest Group. Her research interests include organizational social justice, organizational ethics, spirituality in the workplace, and intersectionality in the leadership experiences of Black American women.
