Meghan M. Burke Vanderbilt University, USA

Dr. Meghan M. Burke conducts research about families of individuals with disabilities including parents and siblings. Specifically, Dr. Burke is interested in parent advocacy, service delivery systems, and the transition of siblings to caregiving roles. In 2012, Dr. Burke received her PhD in Special Education from Vanderbilt University. From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Burke completed a post-doctoral fellowship, funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research, at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since 2014, Dr. Burke has been an assistant professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
