Paul Phillips University of Washington, USA

Paul Phillips is Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science and of Pharmacology at the University of Washington. He received a bachelors degree in Physiology from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Neuroscience from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. His postdoctoral work was carried out with Mark Wightman at the University of North Carolina. Paul's laboratory studies the neurobiology of motivated behavior, focusing on the role of dopamine in reward processing, decision making, substance abuse and stress-related disorders.
