Rob Stones Western Sydney University, Australia
Rob Stones is Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at the University of Western Sydney. His books include Sociological Reasoning (1996) and Structuration Theory (2005). He continues to develop strong structuration theory and its use in case study research in a range of different substantive fields. He is currently completing Why Current Affairs Needs Social Theory, which will be published by Bloomsbury Academic (2014). A third edition of his edited volume Key Sociological Thinkers (2nd edition 2008) will be published in 2015.
