Robert Evans Cardiff University, UK

Robert Evans is a Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University. He has worked in the field of science and technology studies for over 20 years, with research projects including sustainable energy, medical genetics, and economic forecasting. In addition to the development of the Imitation Game method, he has also published a number of papers and books developing the Third Wave of Science Studies, including Rethinking Expertise (The University of Chicago Press, 2007) and Why Democracies Need Science (Polity, 2017), both of which were coauthored with Professor Harry Collins.
