I am a medical sociologist with particular expertise in qualitative studies of medical practice and research. Along with colleagues, Dr Cath Exley and Dr Tracy Finch, my work involves bringing social science perspectives and qualitative methodological expertise to clinical research and teaching. Our work is concerned with the social, experiential, organizational and technological aspects of health and health care.
