Gry O. Ulrichsen Queen Maud University College of Early Childhood Education, Trondheim, Norway

Gry Olsen Ulrichsen is an associate professor at Queen Maud University College of Early Childhood Education (DMMH). She is currently teaching research methodology and didactics in arts education in the bachelor and master’s programs. Gry explores entanglements between post humanist feminism and de/colonial critique/practices, and how they emerge through collaborative, participatory and socially engaged approaches in the fields of art and education. In the last decade she worked extensively with the Solmaz Collective, a transdisciplinary group of artists–researchers and educators working in the Nordic context by linking artistic research with critical pedagogy, focusing on how racism, colonial histories, and power relations shape education and visual culture. Their projects use collaborative and participatory formats, bridging art, theory, and educational practice.
