Signing the Journal’s Contributor License

Sage requires the author as the rights holder to sign a Contributor License for all journal articles we publish.

Sage’s Contributor License is a license agreement under which the author retains copyright in the work but grants Sage the sole and exclusive right and license to publish for the full legal term of copyright. Exceptions may exist where assignment of copyright is required or preferred by a proprietor other than Sage. In this case copyright in the work will be assigned from the author to the proprietor.

London, UK –  SAGE, a leading independent academic publisher, and strong advocate for the social sciences, today published a major new report, written by the Campaign for Social Sciences (CfSS) highlighting the value of social sciences to the UK economy and society.

The Business of People: The Significance of Social Science over the Next Decade calls for at least a 10 per cent increase in real terms of the £4.7 billion annual budget for science and innovation over the next parliament.
