Caroline Swarbrick Lancaster University, UK

Caroline Swarbrick is a Senior Lecturer in Ageing in the Centre for Health Research and Centre for Health Inequalities at Lancaster University (UK). With a social science background and using participatory research methodologies, her research interests focus on community-based co-production and co-research alongside people living with dementia. She is co-investigator and lived experience lead on a five-year Dementia Network Plus ‘Working with Dementia ’programme (funded by the Economic and Social Research Council). She is also co-investigator on the DigiAge study (funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) which explores the use of digital technology by older people. Caroline provides qualitative methodological support to the Research Design Service (funded by the National Institute for Health and Social Care).
