Edna Erez University of Illinois, USA

Edna Erez is Professor in the Department of Criminology, Law, and Justice at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She has an LLB from the Hebrew University Law School as well as an MA in Criminology and PhD in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Erez received over two million dollars in state and federal grants in the US and overseas to study topics related to victims and the criminal justice system. She was also a visiting professor or research fellow in universities or research centers in Australia, Germany, Poland and Israel. Her publication record includes over 100 articles, book chapters and research reports. She is past editor of Justice Quarterly, and she serves on the editorial boards of several other journals in criminology and legal studies. Her current research interests include victim participation in justice, violence against women including immigrant women, the use of technology in domestic violence cases and women and children in terrorism.
