Ryan Bisel University of Oklahoma
Dr. Bisel is Professor of Organizational Communication at the University of Oklahoma. His research interests focus primarily on issues surrounding leadership communication, organizational culture change, and behavioral ethics. Bisel’s (2018) book titled, "Organizational Moral Learning: A Communication Approach" was honored with Book of The Year Awards from two divisions of the National Communication Association. Additionally, Bisel coauthored a textbook, titled, "Organizational Communication: A Lifespan Approach" and edited a companion collection of organizational case studies, titled, "Cases in Organizational Communication." Bisel's original research is published in top communication and management journals. Bisel has worked a process consultant, facilitator, and trainer for dozens of organizations involving topics, such as communication skills, leadership, and organizational ethics. He holds a doctorate and master's degree in communication from the University of Kansas and bachelor’s degrees in communication from William Jewell College.
