Dr. Trish Reay, PhD, professor, School of Business, University of Alberta, is co-investigator. She is associate dean, Research and PhD Program, for the Alberta School of Business. She also holds a partial appointment at Warwick Business School in Coventry, UK, as distinguished research environment professor. Her research builds on principles of institutional theory, professional identity, strategic management, and organizational change to understand inter-professional collaboration, organizational and institutional change processes, and dynamics of interactions in health care settings. She serves as editor-in-chief of Organization Studies and is a member of the editorial review board for a number of management journals. She teaches MBA classes in organizational change and strategic management. She holds expertise in qualitative research methods and draws on this expertise in her publications. She collaborates with research teams throughout Canada and internationally. Her current research projects involve investigations into mental health and addictions, changing practices of pharmacists, emergency room routines, primary health care reform, and challenges to learning in academic health centers. She was inducted as a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (UK) in December 2018.
