I was pleased to find a textbook on this topic however some statements are of concern e.g. on page 54 under the heading "Filing" it states, "we recommend that you consider filing important e-mails and letters". It adds a little later "it is good practice to save all e-mails and letters". I feel this is misleading for Social Workers in Training who need to understand it is essential that all letters in relation to cases are filed immediately and why.
