International Project Management
- Kathrin Köster - Heilbronn University, Germany
With project management becoming an increasingly global endeavour, a comprehensive and international student text that reflects this reality is essential.
International Project Management does just that, systematically linking the key elements of cross-cultural management and the particularities of an international context, with the tools and techniques of project management.
Key features include:
- A wide variety of examples and illustrations, including an in-depth, end-of-chapter case study with case questions;
- Student exercises and review questions;
- Detailed further reading
- The full support of a Companion Website, featuring a Teacher's Manual
This book is an additional source for teaching the topic of international project management. A good overview of the topic and a good mixture of theory and practice.
This book is an obligatory source for people interested in international project management and distributed project teams. It is well structured, contains all relevant information, interesting case studies, exercises for students and review questions. Information is presented in a very comprehensible way. Reading this book is a pleasure. It can be easily adopted in project management courses. I will definitey recommend this book to my students and will use it in my next project management course.
Not focused on PM methods. My undergraduates need introductory concepts and concrete methods to follow. This book would suit a level six or seven learner more.
Koster's book is a useful reference for mapping and completing international consulting projects conducted by students.
This book provides a useful international perspective to events project management and also covers many different aspects.
I believe it will be easy for my international MBA students to read and understand. I also liked the layout and sequence of the text.
Thanks for the inspection copy!
I will recommend it for my students next year!
